So why WordPress...

Isn't this a Coldfusion site? Well...the answer is yes, and no. Yes I am a Coldfusion developer and also a SQL Server DBA by trade. Before that I was a Windows platform application developer, using C, C++ and even VB. Then I met the world wide web, and of course free being good, I picked up PHP. PHP and I had a good relationship for a couple of years, then while working in a web shop I was introduced to Coldfusion and now only visit PHP when I absolutely must. it's a strenuous relationship we have.

So anyway, why WordPress? it's nifty and as soon as I finish my migration for BlogCFC I'll likely switch it up. You'll find all sorts of different code on this site. From CF to PHP even Ruby and I think there's some Perl hiding here somewhere ;)

I'm not the language zealot I once was many years ago, but I do prefer CF in the web world.

Over the next several weeks, I will be filling my code warehouse with every bit that I can dig up from my own archives, Pascal and ADA might even make an appearance!
