SPORE...WTF EA

So I've been suckered into playing EA's latest offering. Spore, but not the full game, just the Creature Creator, which I must say is neat and those who know me know that any time I mention EA in a positive light I vomit a little in my mouth. Why the hate? two words, DOWNLOAD MANAGER. I mean WTF is this piece of crap? Whatever happened to downloading a file from a website, yeah sure there's the "anyone can download it if they have the link" issue but come on, is it really that difficult for you weenies to implement a less invasive file delivery system? Why the hell should I have to download and install something so that I can download and install something else? Why the hell is that while it's downloading that something and stalls, so do all of my other network connects hmmmm? Oh yeah and let's not tell them that it can cause stability issues while playing the thing that it allows you to download too! JFGDCWTF!!
